For the Club “Maestro” in Sofia, Idea Murale partnered with the brilliant minds at Loft Studio to craft custom wallpaper designs that seamlessly blend classical artistry with contemporary flair.

Inspired by the world of music and theater, the designs feature striking, surreal portraits that command attention while harmonizing with the luxurious interior. Rich textures, deep blue velvets, and gold accents complement the artwork, creating an ambiance that feels both dramatic and intimate. Each wallpaper was carefully designed to evoke the essence of performance and elegance, turning every alcove into a stage for artistic expression.

Working alongside Loft Studio, the project reflects a meticulous level of craftsmanship, with every detail—from the floral instrument motifs to the intricate brushwork—designed to enhance the club’s sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere.

Hotel “Convent Square Lisbon”

Nestled within a meticulously restored 13th-century convent, Convent Square Lisbon is a testament to Lisbon’s rich history and modern sophistication. The luxury hotel, located in the heart of the city, seamlessly blends historical grandeur with refined contemporary design. Its in-house Capítulo Restaurant and Bar offers an immersive dining experience where past and present converge in perfect harmony.

A critical component of the restaurant’s interior transformation was the selection of Idea Murale’s “Fresco Antique” wallpaper. Inspired by the aged patinas and artistic murals found in European historical sites, this design was the perfect complement to the restaurant’s architectural essence. The wallpaper’s timeworn aesthetic, reminiscent of aged frescoes and weathered stone, effortlessly integrated with the convent’s original structure, reinforcing the narrative of history meeting modern refinement. The design mimics the textures of ancient murals, enhancing the existing walls without overpowering them. Its antique patina complements the raw textures of the preserved stone, creating a visually cohesive environment.With nearly six-meter-high walls, the wallpaper was expertly implemented to maintain visual fluidity across the expansive space, ensuring a striking yet balanced presence.

Capítulo Restaurant and Bar stands as a remarkable example of how contemporary design elements can be used to amplify, rather than overshadow, a building’s historical significance. Idea Murale’s “Fresco Antique” wallpaper played a pivotal role in achieving this delicate balance, proving that walls are more than just structural elements—they are storytellers. Through thoughtful design and careful material selection, the restaurant now offers a dining experience that is as visually captivating as it is culturally enriching.

This project was more than just decoration – it was about creating an atmosphere that blends elegance, heritage, and contemporary artistry.

Each design was carefully curated to reflect the unique identity of the hotel, with bespoke murals that elevate every room into a distinct experience. From classical Roman sculptures to surreal blue forest scenes, every wallpaper was designed to evoke emotion and immerse guests in an environment of comfort and sophistication.
